COACH MALANI MITCHELL
Malani Mitchell aka “Coach M” is a native of Riverdale, Georgia, a city south of the Atlanta-Metro area. Upon graduating from Clayton County Public Schools, Malani went on to study Strategic Communications and Pre-Law at the “Ivy League” of all historically black colleges, Hampton University.
As an undergraduate, she managed to become the first freshman in Hampton history to Co-Host a live broadcast on WHOV 88.1 FM, became an undergrad assistant as the Recruiting Coordinator for HU football, and remained on the “Dean’s list” four consecutive academic semesters. While thriving at Hampton University, Malani pursued her passion for sports and Co-founded JAM Management, LLC in 2014. JAM Management is a sports marketing and management company dedicated to community relations and community outreach for professional athletes, and non-profit youth organizations. Malani received her Bachelor’s degree Spring of 2017 from Hampton University and resides back in the Atlanta-Metro area where she advocates for community service, academic development, and mentorship.
Malani began her cheer career at the young age of three, cheering at the competitive state level for 15 consecutive years. During her academic school career at Mount Zion High School, as the cheer captain for two years, she led the varsity cheer team to become regional Champions for the first time in school history. Her cheer resume extends nationally, as she is recognized as an “All-American” cheerleader and “All American” Cheer Coach under NCA and UCA regulations. She received her first Cheer Coaching opportunity as an 8th grade student and continued coaching throughout her high school and college careers, making her a 12 year veteran coach. Her coaching endeavors continued while she attended college at Hampton University, and became a certified cheer Coach in the State of Virginia and coached at Kecoughtan High School for three years as the Varsity and Junior Varsity Head Coach.
Malani is known for her unique coaching style, creativity, and a world class cheer competition hosted in Clayton County known as “The JAM Down”. Coach M believes in student-athlete academic achievement and she bears the fruit of both her academic and athletic success as a Coach and a divine citizen.
Her mission as a Tri Cities High School Cheer Coach is to help Fulton County Public Schools produce healthy cheer programs, where girls are our number one priority and cheerleading becomes a passionate gateway to building better lives, one cheer at a time! Together we are ONE Bulldog!

COACH CIERRA` VICKERS
Mrs. Cierra` Vickers is driven by her lifelong passion to academically and athletically train the next generation of leaders and world changers. Throughout the last eight years, the Riverdale, Georgia native has worked as a Special Education Teacher, Assistant Athletic Director, Head Cheerleading Coach, and Head Boys Soccer Coach during her trailblazing tenure at Tri-Cities High School in East Point, GA. Mrs. Vickers is a two-time graduate of Georgia Southern University where she earned the Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Education concentrating in Special Education. Mrs. Vickers broadened her undergraduate experience by minoring in Exercise Science with a specialization in Coaching. An avid workout enthusiast, she is currently in study for a second masters degree focusing on Educational Leadership at Georgia Southern University.
In addition to her educational and athletic duties, Mrs. Vickers maintains affiliation with numerous professional and civic organizations. Among them include membership in; the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE), the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Georgia Athletic Directors Association (GADA), National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA), Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) and the Georgia Cheerleading Coaches Association (GCCA). She is also a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). She has earned numerous accolades but considers her greatest joy and accomplishment to be her husband and two doting children.
